Calculate GPA

Students can use the GPA Calculator to see their CSU/UC GPA.  The GPA is calculated using only completed courses which satisfy the A-G Requirements.

UC Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)

The University of California Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is designed for students with exceptional academic ability and promise despite a low-income or educationally disadvantaged background. EOP is open to students who meet the University’s regular admission requirements. In addition, special assistance is available through EOP to students who do not meet the regular admission requirements, but who can demonstrate the ability and potential to succeed at the University (see Admission by Exception).

Students who are eligible for the UC EOP program are encouraged to apply on the UC Application.  Students should use the personal statement to discuss their interest in EOP and the reasons they are applying to the program.

Applying to a UC

UC applications are available online beginning October 1st; the UC application filing dates are November 1st - November 30th

Seniors must take the SAT/ACT no later than December 2008

UC's and CSU's will not accept any SAT/ACT tests taken any later than December 2008.  Students planning to apply to UC schools must also take 2 SAT Subject Tests in 2 different disciplines.  Taking the SAT Reasoning and 2 SAT Subject Tests requires 2 separate testing dates, so plan ahead!

Application Fee Waivers

Students applying to UC or CSU do not need to fill out a fee waiver form.  They can do this directly on the application when it is completed on line.
