Seniors!

All seniors must take the SAT or ACT by December 2011. Be sure to check out SAT and ACT Prep options offered at Chatsworth High School as well as in the local area.  There are low cost and even FREE options!

Private and out-of-state colleges and universities have deadlines that vary. Be sure to check with each campus.  Some admit students on a rolling admission basis, which means, they take applications throughout the year for the next available semester.

Students who need Secondary School Reports must request them from a counselor or teacher at least 2 weeks before they are needed.  Plan ahead!! Procrastination may result in late application submissions!

Application deadlines are quickly approaching.  Many colleges have deadlines in January, during Winter Break. To get your application materials to the colleges on time, be sure to have all requests for Secondary School Reports and Letters of Recommendation to counselors and teachers no later than December 2.

For any requests made after this date, counselors and teachers cannot guarantee that materials will be completed and sent on time, by the application deadlines. PLAN AHEAD!!
